A message to our wonderful children and families.

Welcome to Edleston Primary school website.  It has been my privilege to be the Headteacher here since 2004.

At Edleston we pride ourselves on the support and care we give our children; “The outstanding personal development and welfare of pupils lies at the heart of Edleston Primary School’s work.  Leaders and staff know the pupils very well.”  Ofsted May 2016.

We are a small, one form entry school.  We are known for our friendly and welcoming atmosphere.  Our children make good progress and learn well because they enjoy their lessons and they are exceptionally well supported by highly skilled staff.

Our curriculum concentrates on the key skills for literacy and numeracy alongside the remaining subjects in the National curriculum.  We also offer lots of extra curriculum activities, school trips, visitors to the school and special themed days and lunches. All curriculum information can be found in the class pages. Please pop into school if you would like to know more.

We work closely with parents to ensure that all our children reach their full potential and enjoy their time at primary school.  Parents are invited to family lunch days, after school activities such as bingo and special themed days such as art afternoons.

We welcome visits to the school.  If you would like to come and have a look and see Edleston in action, please do not hesitate to make an appointment.

I look forward to meeting you.

Mrs Rachael Bagni

What's Happening

I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. We are currently planning on how school will look in September when we welcome all the pupils back. Please keep your eye out on both class dojo and the school website for the information. This will be posted before the end of the summer term. Please bear in mind that we cannot change the timings, as they have to be staggered. Unfortunately if you have more than one child at school, this means you may have to go home and come back or wait a while outside the school gates.
Reports are going out next Monday [July 13th]. If your child is not in school please come and collect your child’s report from outside the main office on the following days;
Tuesday 14th between 11.00 and 12.00 for reception children
Tuesday between 12.30 and 1.30 for Y1 children
Wednesday 15th between 11.00 and 12.00 for Y2 children
Wednesday between 12.30 and 1.30 for Y3 children
Thursday 16th between 11.00 and 12.00 for Y4 children
Thursday between 12.30 and 1.30 for Y5 children
Friday 17th between 11.00 and 12.00 for Y6 children.

The reports will be in alphabetical order in a box and there will be hand sanitizer available so that you can wash your hands after finding your child’s report. If there is already a parent there please wait for them to leave, via the one way system, and keep the social distancing rules.
Have a lovely week everyone and take care.
